Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Custom Websites & Software Engineering

Custom software projects are billed in clear milestones rather than vague retainers. Here is how cancellations and refunds work along with the reasoning behind each stage:

• Before Engineering Begins (100% Refund Minus Hard Costs): When you pay an initial project deposit, we reserve dedicated calendar time and often purchase domain names, server space, or third-party licenses on your behalf. If you cancel before we begin writing code, we refund your deposit in full, minus any non-refundable domain or third-party vendor fees already paid.
• Active & Completed Milestones (Non-Refundable Labor): Once architecture, design, and coding begin on a milestone, your payment covers real human engineering hours already invested into your custom build. Completed and approved milestones are non-refundable because custom labor cannot be returned or resold to another client.
• Satisfaction & Revision Commitment: Rather than leaving you unhappy, we include structured revision rounds prior to final launch to ensure the finished system matches your approved project scope.

2. Mobile Apps & Games (Google Play & Apple App Store)

Purchases made inside One Shelf Studio or Digital Dads mobile applications are processed directly by Google Play or the Apple App Store:

• Store Billing Windows: Both Google Play and Apple enforce standardized refund windows (typically 48 hours for mobile app purchases) directly through your device account history.
• Direct Technical Support: If a technical bug ever prevents an app or premium feature from working properly on your device, email us directly. We will fix the issue promptly or assist you in processing a full store refund.

3. Digital Audio Packs & Downloadable Assets

One Shelf Studio provides unlocked, DRM-free audio libraries and developer assets:

• Why Downloaded Packs Are Final: Unlike physical goods, unlocked WAV and MP3 audio files are immediately copied to your local storage upon download and cannot be physically returned. For this reason, digital asset pack sales are final once downloaded.
• Defective or Corrupted Files: If a download link fails or an archive arrives corrupted, contact us within 14 days and we will deliver a clean replacement copy or issue a full refund if the file cannot be restored.

4. 1-on-1 Mentorship & AI Training Sessions

Live training and consulting sessions require dedicated preparation and calendar blocking. You are welcome to reschedule any session at zero cost with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations requested at least 24 hours before a scheduled session qualify for a 100% refund.
